Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Inventorama at inventorama.com. Using it means you agree to them. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, ask at support@inventorama.com. How your data is handled is in the Privacy Policy.

The service

Inventorama is run by ceba.dev. It keeps a record of the things in your homes: items, warranties, receipts, manuals, photos and maintenance, with reminders and sharing. Features are added and changed over time; the Help page describes what it does today.

Your account

You sign in through ceba.dev's sign-in service, with an email address and password or with Google or GitHub. Keep your sign-in to yourself: what happens in your account is your responsibility. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.

What you put in

What you enter and upload stays yours. You let us store it, process it and show it to the people you share it with, only so that the service works for you. You can export your items and maintenance log as CSV files at any time, and deleting something deletes it.

When you share a property or invite someone to a household, they see what that property holds. Share only what you are entitled to share.

Acceptable use

Do not use Inventorama to store anything unlawful or to harm other people, do not upload malware, and do not try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, to overload the service, or to copy it by automated means. We may remove content or suspend an account that does, and we will tell you why unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.

Guides and maintenance tips

The guides and the maintenance tips are general information, researched with the help of an AI model and checked as well as we can. They are not professional advice about your home. Check them against your manufacturer's instructions, and leave work on gas, wiring, refrigerant and structure to a licensed professional.

Availability and backups

We work to keep Inventorama running and back up the database and files every night, keeping backups for 7 days. We cannot promise it will never be unavailable or never lose data, so keep your own copies of documents you cannot replace, such as an original receipt you would need for a claim.

Free and paid plans

Inventorama is free today. A paid plan (Pro) is planned; see Pricing. When it launches, maintenance tips and setting up new shares and households move to it; shares and households that exist then keep working. We email you at least 30 days before any feature you use moves to a paid plan. What you have stored stays yours and stays reachable on the free plan, and exporting it is always free.

When a paid plan is offered:

• the price, the billing period and what the plan includes are shown before you pay;
• payment is handled by Stripe through ceba.dev's billing service; Inventorama never sees your card details;
• a subscription renews at the end of each period until you cancel it, which you can do at any time from your account; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for;
• a price change applies from your next renewal, and only after we have emailed you about it at least 30 days ahead.

Refunds

• An annual subscription: a full refund within 14 days of the first payment, without questions.
• A monthly subscription: cancel at any time and it ends with the month you paid for; that month is not refunded.
• Anything else, such as a renewal you forgot about: write to us, and we refund the unused part when it is fair to.

Ask for a refund at support@inventorama.com. Where the law where you live gives you more, such as a right to withdraw from a purchase, you have that as well; nothing here takes it away.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Everything you stored goes at once, and the properties you own are deleted for everyone they are shared with; the nightly backups age out within 7 days. Cancel a paid plan before deleting the account, or it is cancelled with the account.

If we ever close Inventorama, we will email you at least 30 days ahead so you can export what you need.

Liability

Inventorama is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as a warranty claim that could not be made or a repair that cost more than it should have, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability or a consumer right that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date at the top changes when they do. For a change that matters, such as one to paid plans or refunds, we email the people it affects at least 30 days before it applies to them.
